It is an alternative to 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-β-[D]-glucuronide (X-GlcA) for detection of the β-glucuronidase gene. 5-Bromo-6-chloro-3-indolyl beta-D-Glucuronide Cyclohexylammonium Salt can be used as analytical reagent use in use of the lacZ reporter gene as an internal control for GUS activity in microprojectile bombarded plant tissue. |
