I recently posted some SOUNDstudio kits that I have available.  I am grateful to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for his input regarding the SOUNDstudio and my comparison of it to the PAS.  He made me aware of 3 flaws in my post and (one of which he doesn't even know about) and I really appreciate his pointing them out to me.  I will elaborate them here and will end this transmission with the original post so that everyone can know what we are talking about.   First, he is 100% correct in saying that you can get the Pro Audio Spectrum for $130.00. I said that I have seen it for as much as $200.00 in Computer Shopper and I made an error.  It is the Pro Audio STUDIO (or its analogs) that I have seen for as much as $200.00.  As the SOUNDstudio is analogous to the Pro Audio STUDIO the comparison is valid in as much as you can't get a STUDIO for the $125.00 that I am asking (the studio gives you Sound Studio like capabilities for recording and editing sound, etc.). Second, Cardinal advertises this card as a suitable replacement for the PAStudio; however, as This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it correctly points out, the SOUNDstudio has 12-Bit record whereas the PAStudio has 16 bit record. This is a valid point that I was unaware of at the time of my original post.   Third: In any case, the card and my price are still *ABSOLUTELY AWESOME* for the following reason (which relates to the 3rd flaw in my original post (that This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it didn't know about)).  I completely forgot to include in the original post that this card is *NOT* just a sound card.  It is *ALSO* a 1024x768 Non-Interlaced Video Card with 1 MEG of RAM on board!  In writing the original post I completely neglected the mention of this feature.  In other words, this is a *QUALITY VIDEO/SOUND* card for $125.00.  You are effectively paying $62.50 for a *BRAND NEW* 1024x768 Video card (with all the DOCS and supporting software); and $62.50 for a *BRAND NEW* SOUNDstudio (that rivals PAStudio) (again with DOCS and an arsenal of studio software)! At $125.00 this card is an *UNBELIEVABLE STEEL*!!!!
