3-Butyn-1-amine is a reagent used to prepare alkylaminodiaryl -dihydropyrazoles as potent, water-soluble inhibitors of mitotic kinesin spindle protein inhibitors. It is also used to synthesize oxoquinoline derivatives as cannabinoid CB2 receptor ligands.
